About

Lookman Film is an idea and practice of free, modern and unique, out of the box approach of work on videography that used to be a hobby but grew to love then to passion and then to obsession.
My big passion is music and dance, movies, traveling, psychology and books related to spiritual and intellectual development.

How did you get into the wedding industry?

Everything began six years ago, together with a colleague I bought my first DSLR and started making clips for my dance club.
At first, we were using photography and video to follow and support the crew and kids from the dance club on their events, competitions, and trips.

Then we got an idea, let's start recording weddings. At that time we had no real example from someone in our region of how to get the job done nor anyone to inspire or teach us. Actually, people started laughing at us when they saw what kind of equipment we were using, since the majority back then was still using VHS cassettes which content they would convert to digital form afterward. We were different, but we knew we could do this a lot better, and that's the very reason why we started and continued working.
After we created an official Facebook page, we started uploading and presenting our content on the internet; we had made a difference which could be quickly noticed on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And now I can proudly say in Europe.

Tell us about one of your best experiences at work?

Lot of time, I had situations that my couples send me pictures with teachers in eyes, and that something that touch me a lot, and it's big motivation in same time.

What equipment do you use?

Flying microwaves are my usual tools 🙂

I’m kidding of course. Even though in videographers’ and photographers’ circles equipment is a number one subject and we’re all big fans with a lot of knowledge about it, it is the last thing we want to talk about. Of course I follow world trends, but I sincerely believe that the most powerful weapon of any videographer is his eye and his heart.

I'm Panasonic fan and I use Gh5s, GH5 and GX9.

What's your favorite part of the wedding day? Why?

I am always in best mode that day.
Shooting and party time is something special.
First, I like to be with couples and have enough time to hunt all emotion moments between them, and second I like music and dance. Whan all peoples are on theri legs and dance.

Favorite Book

I love science, especially psychology and books related to spiritual and intellectual development.

Any personal advice for fellow Photographers & Videographers?

It's amazing to see you all gathered in a place like this. Continue doing what you are doing, do it with love, always push yourself to do more, always strive to achieve better next time, and stay hungry, stay foolish.
