Bows & lavender is a wedding photography duo otherwise known as Jessy & Brandon. We are based in Toronto, Ontario with a focus on weddings & portraiture. Our style is described as cinematic, timeless, warm & candid.

We started in weddings by accident, a family member got married specifically a brother. We jetted off to a warm Country full of culture surround by a bunch of family and friends and the rest is history. We fell in love with the people at weddings and from there has trickled into what we are now :)

One of our best experiences at work, hmm, there is a lot to choose from. So it's hard to narrow down. One memory that i'll never forget, is walking along a rail path with a couple and their family, making their way to the dinner from the ceremony place on foot. I remember walking along and shooting pictures of the group moving and moseying along. And I looked up and saw a bridge, and thought out loud, " sh*t f*cking sh*t" as the groom looked at me startled. He asked if I was okay, and I smiled realizing I just swore obnoxiously at the whole crew. Unintentionally of course, I was upset because I realized that would have been a great vantage point to shoot the whole group that I knew they would have loved to see. Well low and behold, I walked a few more steps, gazing up upon the giant bridge, with the light slamming into my face from above as I saw Brandon's camera peak over the ledge and shoot away. He had run ahead of us, about 5 minutes previous to our arrival and prepared the shot. That was the moment I knew I needed to step my game up because my second shooter/husband just blew everyones socks off with a shot they'll never forget.
